Thread Summary
The forum thread discusses discrepancies in the descriptions of the location of the Chicago casque, with some members pointing out that there are different accounts compared to what one of the actual finders, Eric, recalls. The thread emphasizes the importance of clarifying these details to avoid confusion in solving the puzzles. Another member expresses relief that the issue seems to have been resolved.

Yeah, I'm starting a new thread for this little gem. There are far far far too many citations in several different threads where people describe the location of the Chicago casque differently than where Eric, one of the actual finders recalls the dig spot being. There is a misconception about the markers and that is leading to a number of poor arguments in "how to solve the puzzles".
Here is his spot, the yellow arrow and "10 by 13" feet in white, I've added.
