I recently connected with John Frazier. Currently there is a moratorium on digging at the FOY. When and if that gets lifted in 2019, there is going to be standardized paperwork in dealing with treasure hunters (don't know about fees yet, last I heard it was in the neighborhood of $500 a hole.). Here's his update: "We have had non-stop unauthorized probing for the last couple months. It is as if someone started at the Spring House, probed all around the building. Then they began walking out toward the waterfront, probing and digging small holes on both sides of the pathway. Someone snapped one of our large anchor chains. Someone removed all of the lava stone from under the anchor and then sloppily put it back. Someone did a little gardening underneath a very large hedge that we have close to the park center. It has been insane. On top of that, there has been a little bit of disturbing chatter on Reddit and one other site. Unfortunately, this has gotten a little stale." Cameras are being placed in the park. You will be caught, they will arrest you. You will go to jail. And you will deserve it. John has always been so welcome to diggers... it sucks that someone would ruin it for the rest of us.

Mister EZ

=[ Sorry to hear that, GW...but, I really hope the culprit is caught.

JoshCornell

not even a reasonable location...i tried telling them to stop letting people dig there lol

JoshCornell

so? i dug in the courtyard part around it...i did probe around the tree to follow the roots out cause they came outside the fence they were so damn big. but that was way off anyways, of all my first attempts that was definitely the worst. i had weak answers for many of the clues and tried to guess the end based on last clue alone...now i know you cant do that. all the rest i was either right or had fallen for a trap specifically designed into the puzzle, and ive since rectified my mistakes. at least i made it out of FOY though lol.

You are obviously part of the problem and not the solution. This extends to all parts of your life.

JoshCornell
