Hello everyone, I originally had a copy of the book when I was 12. I was fairly recently reminded of it and began researching. Currently, we are in Orlando, but go to St. Augustine often. I could not find a thread dedicated to this riddle/location. I have quite a bit of information from other sites, as well as, research I have compiled. My wife and I will be in St Augustine again soon and intend to stay at the Howard Johnson's across for Fountain of Youth. Our plans are to take a look of pictures, do research at muncipal archives and library, and try to make contact with the powers that be at FOY. Hopefully there is still interest in this location as we would love to collaborate with others. Specifically going to research the old north entrance and what that area looked like in 1982

(Navigation is at the bottom of index page one.) That thread was started in 2003, and is up to 38 pages of posts. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=759

There's another 47 pages of posts on it under Verse 9. Enjoy. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1130 It's worth staying open to the possibility that the casque is near FOY rather than in it; maybe even at the motel where you're staying. I wonder if their visitor records go back to Byron's day... Could this picket fence once have been green...? They might have old photos. ...but yeah, it's a long shot. Seem to remember rookhunter found quite a compelling location...not sure if this was the same as Eg's. I think this was it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/98389557@N04/9303396471/ I'd thought those pillars like the one at that spot might be indicated in the image. I feel the planetarium is one of the puzzle's focal points. Dunno how close it is there.

Thanks for the quick responses! I agree that it is outside the park. I agree about the planetarium. I really think the dome of the hill in the painting is it. I like the comparison of the chest plate. You actually answered one of the questions I had. We will make it up there in the coming weeks. Thanks again!
