Guardian

After reading everybody’s research and learning, and after my own research and learning, I think I know what The Secret is: Education is priceless.

Deep...

XeroDM

... more about the journey than the destination.

McGovern15

The real treasure was the friends we made along the way.

lanzini

I really did want to know the answer to this. To me, it’s contained in the Verrazzano Statue in Battery Park in Lower Manhatten pointed out by Drumman on the Wiki -- Giovanni da Verrazzano, by Ettore Ximenes https://diannedurantewriter.com/archives/4584 “ Her upraised left hand holds a torch, representing knowledge or enlightenment… The sword with which she pierces the book represents the sharp wits needed to see history clearly.”

erexere

Like hot potato... It's a child's game where the cushy Nerf(TM) ball gets impatiently passed around only some people need to do a happy dramatic improvisational dance performance while pretending their hands have been burned to a crisp holding some deep dark secret hotness. At some point the joke gets tired and the potato gets handed off to the next hopeful victim and we all laugh at the cuteness of it all...except for 421 who sits in a corner working on his proud tall genitalia sketches.

Hirudiniforme

erexere wrote:: ... except for 421 who sits in a corner working on his proud tall genitalia sketches. LOL! Damn straight. And actually, my fingers were singed before I held the secret hotness... thank goodness. I had insulated mits on by the time I got it, so now I just stare down like a loving mother lulling and adoring a snuggly warm baby.

MrBackstop

A great history teacher

Oregonian wrote:: After extensive research, I determined the true secret behind The Secret : Byron Preiss was actually moonlighting as a traveling salesman for a sundial company! I like to know if this is true. Was he gravitated towards or seeking sundial locations?
