Thread Summary
In the forum thread, users are discussing the progress of finding jewels and submitting findings to the publisher related to a treasure hunt. Sandpiper121pp asks about Egbert receiving his jewel and if anyone has received answers from the publisher. Others like wilhouse and fox express not hearing anything. johann suggests that action may increase with Egbert getting his jewel and progress in various locations. Fox speculates that some users may be closer to the treasure than they reveal. Pine_Tree mentions being interested in the Milwaukee casque but is geographically distant, planning a potential visit to Charleston. Wilhouse hints at progress in Houston and suggests that a correct solution might be verified after Egbert's jewel is received. The discussion also touches on personal locations and hopes for successful discoveries.

Two questions... did Egbert ever get his jewel yet and has anybody gotten any answers to their submitted findings to the publisher??? I personally have not heard one word from him and am curious if he is even around. ???
johann
Perhaps action will increase with:
1. Eg's reception of his jewel
2. Progress on Milwaukee
3. Progress on N'Orleans now that someone is down there
4. Progress elsewhere.

been wondering the same thing myself lately. Could it be that some folks are a bit closer than they let on and want to be the digger? who knows.....all I know is that I dont think I am near a casque site but am hoping, praying & trying to submit anything valuable that will lead one of us to #3.
Pine_Tree
Well, in my case the Milwaukee casque is near to my heart, but not my body (Georgia), so at this point I'm still doing research.
The only realistic chance I have to do a site visit would be Charleston. Mrs. Tree's even OK with the idea (romantic weekend without the kids, treasure hunt included), as long as we can make it happen before the next sapling shows up in February. Maybe I'll get to the battery and have a great discovery and have to run out to a hardware store....
Personally, I'm pulling for Wilhouse to be next.
fox
I too seem to think Wilhouse's find in Houston seems to be the closest at hand.
Where about in GA are you Tree? Please say Atlanta 8)
Pine_Tree
Nah, thank goodness. About an hour southwest of there.
wilhouse
when the weather turns the Houston treasure will be close at hand...
who knows, perhaps one of the submitted solutions is correct and Preiss will verify after Egbert gets his jewel.
