Revisit Houston 2019

Postby ent66 » Fri Aug 02, 2019 6:08 pm

I don't have a new solution, but want to point out some old, ignored points from years ago. IMO they should be revisited.
I'm in the camp the casque is not buried in Hermann Park so I've been looking in other places.

Bear with me, as this is not a solution but hopefully will jump start a new/old perspective. I agree whole-heartedly with the simple idea BP starts with the Image to identify a city then further, a park, then coupled with the Verse leading to the dig site. But in the case of Houston, maybe we need a spark from the Verse to better interrupt the Image.

The line in Verse 5, identified many times in the forum, "A wingless bird ascended" is intriguing. Several people in the past have used the same thought process and even mentioned Rocket Park. But the idea didn't take hold.

Before you throw stones, go on Google Earth and look at Rocket Park. Open up your perspective and the area around the Pillars / rockets.

If you move down the road from Rocket Park, moving along SECOND Street, you will see a water tower. It looks oddly familiar.

If you pan out, you will see the Water Tower Pillar is lined up nicely with the rocket Pillars, maybe like the pillars in Image 8. Then moving out further, you see a solitary Pillar in a field.

Zoom in to this solitary pillar.

Again, seems vaguely familiar.

Was the pillar used as the launching pad for a Rocket? If we compare Image 8's Genie, his legs seem to be similar to a rocket launch ?

And zooming out a little more, look at the area around the launch pad. Compare it to the shadow behind the Genie in Image 8. They are very similar. Especially the notches and the point of the shadow.

Let me be clear. I DO NOT think BP dug a hole in Rocket Park burying a casque. But if we use the theory the image gets you to the area … Houston diggers should visit the area and maybe use Verse as you look around.

I'm a Newyorker (said with a Brooklyn accent) and rarely visit Houston. So thought maybe someone should try a new perspective that has been born of ancient dreams of flight, shovels and GPR.

Get permission to dig it out.

This is why I recommended that new users should be required to post 100 times before being allowed to create new threads.

That rule is probably inadequate. I’d be willing to bet that at least 1 user here has more than a 100 posts since April 2, 2019. (The thread creators join date.) :rofl :rofl

Just because the last few peices of a puzzle are hard doesnt mean you should tear the whole puzzle up and try to make a diffrent puzzle out of it.
