I have it!! - a Green Towner of Lights - five steps - Paul Revere Plaque - a historic park (and in 1991 a National Landmark) Let me post..... http://www.charlestownonline.net/citysquare.htm Someone i going to have to scout this out because I am sure some things have changed in the last twenty odd years. http://www.bostonharborwalk.com/placest ... id=1&sid=2 see the fountain in the middle of the park for: 'a green tower' , 'of lights' This square should be near where 'they pass old iron side'. Find the steps and the plaque and you've found the casque. I still do not know what Image to place with Boston.

Trohn, can you be a little more specific with why you think this is the correct location?  I agree with the verse being about Boston, but I'm not sure what your evidence is for this particular park.  Please explain.

It doesn't quite fit, trohn. And why do people keep creating new threads?! A green tower of lights In the middle section "Middle section" is probably Middlesex, but Charlestown is not in Middlesex County. And does the fountain light up at night? If it doesn't, why would this be a green tower of "lights"? Near those Who pass the coliseum With metal walls True, this could refer to Old Ironsides.

If this does pan out....it seems to be quite interesting indeed........ Charlestown.... ??........Charleston    If we do find one here, I think we had better revisit the theory on how every P is somehow linked.

The "green tower" is the fountain in the middle of the park.... Check out the linked photo. I have a positive iimage tie in that I will post wth the image.

Verse 3 If Thucydides is North of Xenophon Assumption that this is the Boston Public Libarary Take five steps In the area of his direction Assumption that the Charlestown Bridge and steps preserved in the City square Park are orientated by a statue. A green tower of lights In the middle section The fountain that is a green tower encasing a tube of illumination and topped with a compass and a water fowl Near those Who pass the coliseum With metal walls The South/West corner is at the Main street that crosses the Charles River and passes the Navy Yard with the USS Constituion Face the water Your back to the stairs The stairs are the preserved steps of the old Charlestown Bridge Feel at home The first building on this square was the birth of the justice system within Massachusettts, The Great House. All the letters Are here to see Do not know Eighteenth day Twelfth hour At the steps and the old Charlestown Bridge is a plaque place by the duaghters of the revolution placing the spot where Paul Revere borrowed a horse and started his Midnight Ride. (after being boated over) Lit by lamplight In truth, be free. Further cementing the Paul Revere connection and the park's street light configuration at the location. Spot of the burial:  (guessing without photos) Walk up the five steps. Face the fountain, back to the steps. Near the park's entrance, behind the Statue of Justice.

Well then. If that fountain really does light up at night (evidence for this), you just might be onto something.

No photo of the fountain at night. Just desciptions of the gas lgihts that surround it. This park isn't even designated as green space on mapquest. Travleing from the navy Yard to the Bunker Hill Monument, you go right past/through this section.  So, it is on the Freedom Trail.

This must be the fountain in question: cant wait to see it at night time..... it also has the same scrollwork around its base.. also.... could what we have been referring to as a feather in the P (top portion of round window behind female) be found around the base of this fountain ??

The fountain in question dates only to 1996, from what I can tell. The sculptor was David Phillips: http://www.phillipssculpture.com/

I followed the link to http://www.charlestownonline.net/citysquare.htm It appears the park wasn't constructed until the late '80s: "In 1987, at the request of NATF, and through the offices of Representative Richard A. Voke, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management (DEM) appointed a staff person to assist the community in beginning the process to achieve the objective of creating a park out of Parcel 5. In 1988 the City Square Park Committee (CSPC) was established, with Ken Stone and Peggy Bradley serving as co-chairs. (Annette Tecce replaced Ms. Bradley in 1989.) Late in 1989, Representative Voke was successful in securing funds for the planning, design and construction of the park. On May 22, 1991, CBT conducted the first community meeting, and on July 9, 1992, City Square Park was designated a Boston Landmark site. The City Square tunnels were completed in 1992, and surface restoration followed in 1993. Following a lengthy consultant selection process that involved the participation of CSPC co chairs Stone and Tecce and Richard Johnston of the NATF, in December of 1992, the DEM hired the Halvorson Company, Inc. to carry out the preliminary and final park design for City Square. (This firm had designed the critically acclaimed park in Boston’s Post Office Square.) Community meetings reviewing the final Halvorson proposals took place between January 14, 1993 and January 31, 1994."

That is also the impression I got.  I'm sure there was "something" there before the book was published but it looks to me like the actual park (along with all of its confirmers) was constructed PostSecret.

Too bad the time machine wasn't around back then Thanks for squashing this before it got too many legs.

Then can this thread be deleted please, or at the very least merged with the Verse 3 thread? Mark? cthree?
