Erpobdelliforme wrote:: Oh FFS GG, get a grip. And then get a clue. Ask yourself how Josh even knew that poster had a wife and daughter. He certainly didn't post that information here. It's almost like all y'all are going out of your way to antagonize the kid. Why is that? And it is almost like you are going out of your way to defend a troll? I would ask why that is, but I really don't care about your opinion.

Unknown: This will be the first thing we'll be having a talk about. I don't think Josh plans to go to LA when he's in California. You might have to travel to SF and (s)talk him there. Not a thing creepy about that. Nope. Not a single thing.

Yeah, it is really creepy that he is being defensive after being offended. Totally out of the ordinary. I guess GG is not put together as well as your butt buddy Josh.

Erpobdelliforme

Unknown: Yeah, it is really creepy that he is being defensive Golden Gate is openly threatening him. I would hardly call that defensive. Or admirable. Or smart for that matter, given that this forum, and everything that is written on it, is part of the public record. But that's just my opinion, which as you have noted, is none of your concern.

Unknown: Relax and stop obsessing over me. Consider it done. Peace.

Haldol... "Ask your Dr if Abilify is right for you!" Awww, that was a short lived romance ^

Can someone change the title of this thread please. What a waste of time and energy.

Doghousereiley

I sent email to webmaster address only to have it returned

Ohh the irony of these posts. 2 sensitive whiners wasting an entire thread complaining about someone "posting too much nonsense" (oh the irony)..then those same two crying that he said something racist on a FB post, while at the same time constantly making fun of "retards" and "using the yellow bus", etc... (oh the irony)...then those people crying that he made "threatening posts", while at the same time threatening him that his two friends will met him in SF (oh the irony)..lolol SHUT UP already. Typical Cali person that gets triggered "waaaa thats racist" .."waaa thats sexist"..."waaa thats homophobic"..waaaa

So.... Any progress digging up the casque yet? I’ve been waiting for your update for a few days now. In the spirit of the intent of this thread, what is the casque location and retrieve-ability as it stands today?

JoshCornell1 wrote:: Are you assuming I sent an email about you Josh Cornell to the webmaster? Maybe I was requesting a webmaster who is more active on the forum? Honestly Josh Cornell posts don't bother me. I rarely read them as they are are all rehash of others ideas and provide little additional information Since he has solved all the puzzles and when he finishes his tour he will go away and the real researchers will remain

In the spirit of the intent of this thread, what is the casque location and retrieve-ability as it stands today? Patience. Getting a clear sense for the Preiss method and what is reasonable is a big hurdle for people who get over-focused on details that stem from poorly formed preconceptions. Preiss going to the trouble to bury these objects, publish a book, wait for letters or phone calls to verify solves, makes it reasonable to assume he wanted to choose spots which were at a glance, well established, settled and unchanged over a long period. The wall in Cleveland looked firmly set. Grant Parks corner looked like a relatively undisturbed and out of focus area aside from 3 young men digging a large pit... I think that fenced area in Boston's Charlesgate looks ideal. It doesn't seem developed or heavily disturbed since the 80's. If the casque is there, I give it a 50% chance of not being tore up by shrub roots and freeze/thaw. I think the outer banks of NC and possibly the Lighthouse Island of SC were too badly altered by weather related changes. SF seems harder than the rest. I doubt it will be found. Houston is a bust. NOLA is also a very questionable location given landscape alterations and weather. St. Augustine is about as problematic as it gets. That green picket fence is always on the move. This hunt is the source of many nightmares...

Just a general observation: As adults, I believe that "we" can make our point without making it personal, or political. Even if "they" started it. And I believe this is true regardless of who is the "we", and who is the "they". Carry on.

And I totally agree with you.

Ah, but Josh and I do have something in common.......... ZERO casques in hand.

Do partial casques and the encasing count? If you want to waste time digging up pieces of the NYC one, you can.
