Front of the Book (often referred to as FoTB), is a commonly-used shorthand for the segment of the book The Secret that precedes the central section entitled The Treasure (which contains the key twelve full-color images and verses). There are four chapters included in this part of the book.

The Tale, Simply Told

An introduction to the book and its central treasure hunt, which describes the “wonderstones” of the puzzles, the mythos of their burial, and the rules of retrieval.

The Passage

“In which the reader meets the Fair People and learns of their Emigration"

The Litany of the Jewels

“In which the reader discovers the nature of the Fair People’s Treasures"

The Vanishing

“In which the fate of the Fair People and their Treasures is revealed"
