Welcome to the 2023 Masquerade Tribute Hunt Mini-Puzzle!

Thank you for donating to the St. Jude's Children's hospital. St. Jude is a charity close to the heart of each member of The Secret Podcast. Your donation will be used to support day-to-day operations at St. Jude, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. There truly is no greater gift, than the gift of life.
From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you.

My heart goes out to you, George. It took a lot of courage for you to put yourself and your feelings out there for the world to see. Nothing silver will last.

If actions are all that matter, then words are not meaningless. Words require action to come forth. It requires action to pick up a phone and call a loved one, type out a message and press send, or write a letter (or show up to a funeral to give a eulogy). It still needs effort. We should never forget to use our words and tell our loved ones how much they mean to us while they’re still alive. Because we do have such limited time, carpe diem.

Try not to let your shadow self/brain pull you down too much. While our shadows are necessary, they can often deceive and overexaggerate to us. None of us are immune to this. I never knew JM, but I do know about how physical and mental sicknesses change our brains and lives. And I think if it was your friend JM, then he was very proud of what you’ve accomplished even if never expressed. I also think it’s okay to let go of your guilt. You’ve accomplished great things and touched many people. I do think JM lives on through you.

Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing pieces of your story with us.

Did you ever find out why JM quit speaking to you?
Unfortunately, there are NO WORDS and time doesn’t heal all wounds.
No one is promised today, let alone tomorrow; so, act before they’re gone or you’re gone.

Also actions, such as donations to places like St Jude, speak volumes.

George, thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I know it’s difficult to stay out of the shadows and always think good, happy thoughts, but I wish peace for you. You are a great human.
