Well, that’s interesting. The final paragraph of the product description is something I wrote for The Secret Wiki years ago. I guess I’ll just sit back and wait for the royalties to roll in…

The 1982 edition has certainly become more collectible with the renewed interest over the past year or so. The only one currently on amazon.co.uk is £320, while prices on amazon.com start at $118 for an “old, torn, faded” copy. So I’m pleased to have picked up a mint-looking one on eBay recently for £20.
Give it a few more years and I won’t need the jewels; I’ll make a packet just selling the book…

No wonder I can’t find a reasonably priced copy of the book. White Rabbit is cornering the market…

I’ve seen some copies going for ~$60-70. I’m not sure what anyone considers “reasonable”. It was more than what I was willing to pay for a 35yo paperback, though. Then again, I spent that on dinner last night, so maybe I should just get one and eat ramen for a couple days to justify it. Instead, I bought the crappy copy that was published in 2011 with the images that looked like they were photocopied by someone who had never used one before, and I just use the hi-res scans on my tablet when I need them on-the-go.
