Wonder,
Please share your ideas!  This casque should have been found easily
if the trees that BP used as locators were still there…with any
signs that may once have been nailed to them still there…
I would be glad to look at new information!

Hi,
I am a newbie here!  But I was wondering why you think the lion bride is the bridge you want?  How did you get there?  I have another location that might prove move interesting (if I am right).  Where is the compass direction you used?  The lighthouse?
Wondering?

Hi Guys and Gals,
Would love to share BUT . . . just need to get info on what led people to the lion bridge.  I think this is the mis-direction that happened so many years ago (if I am right).  Does anybody know?

Welcome to the hunt Wonder.  I (as well as the rest around here probably) am very interesting in your ideas as to a possible location.

The lion bridges are the only two bridges in the vicinity of other markers that we think are referenced in the verse.

cw0909,
The ongoing cutting down of trees does not seem to be
related to the health of trees.  Apparently they are just
“cleaning out” the area.
Yes, I did dig by the G-tree once…down about 4 feet!
If they decide to knock down the stone wall, we may
be surprised by a casque yet.
I did dig yesterday near another tree that appeared to
have a “G” faintly carved into it…but no luck.
I dug by one more tree, just because it was in the area,
and was only a stump. (so I could not tell if it had ever
had a letter on it…but it had been a large tree before it fell.)
No casque…

The transformation of Lake Park continues as the “gardeners” cut down
many more trees along Lincoln Memorial Drive.  One of them was the G-tree
If I had not taken so many photos of this area, it would be impossible to know
what BP had seen over 27 years ago.
The women’s Tee-off markers on the golf course have also been changed…
to bright yellow dimpled golf balls.

I made it to Lake Park on Easter to look around.
The changes taking place there are overwhelming!
It is a good thing we got photos before all of the
trees were cut down and the bridges were dismantled.

Sheesh!
Did you tell the work crew to be on the lookout for plexiglass boxes??

cw0909,
Having searched around the bridges for several years now,
I think that the casque was probably not in the proximity of
all of this present destruction.
There is one more place that I will try to dig, when I get the chance.
Weather in Milwaukee has not been particularly cooperative with a “digger”.
As always…optimistic…

Everything about this has been laid out on numerous occasions through out these threads.  Yes, I know…there is A LOT to read.  It seems to me that you are reluctant in sharing any ideas you may have yet expect to be told about ours…….even though EVERYTHING is here in black and white for ALL to read.

Here are photos of the second possible G-tree I found and dug by.
I saw what may be a faint G carved on the trunk that reminded me of the
first G-tree carving.
This tree is the one in the middle of the photo…to the left of the stump.
It is located behind the 4-trunk tree previously discussed (to the far right).
(As of last Sunday, the tree on the far left is cut down.
)
This possible second G-tree (on the left) is near the stump of a tree that appears to
have fallen down some time ago…due to rot or wind.
The stump is of interest, because it has a similarity to the “cape tree” of image 10
with its vertical bumps.  I did dig near this tree also.
