Yeah its outside of the fountain of youth. the way the sidewalk was made gave it a weird shape, almost like a square inside of a square. The the boarder butting up against the sidewalk is broken in the same places as the painting.
It’s hard to describe.
Some people call that image the childeater, some think it represents a statue in the FOY… its not discussed much because people can’t seem to get over seeing it as a face, and there are no faces that match it.

This brings up a great point. In my experience, you won’t get much insight from discussion on the wiki: Someone allegedly keeps deleting almost every contribution, so discussion is difficult. Q4T is probably your best bet. I also like the Something Awful thread on it, although you’re going to get a big dose of JoshCornell-like posting. Also, I hear reddit has a decent discussion going, but haven’t checked it out.
Keep up the input, it’s great seeing and discussing everyone’s takes

The ‘childeater’ is actually a very specific sidewalk near the foy. I keep meaning to take a picture of it But I forget wherever im out there.
It looks like there is a face… But it matches the sidewalk perfectly.

I haven’t seen this mentioned outside of the wiki and I couldn’t find any mention of it here, but has anyone else wondered about the similarities between the shape in the left side of the rock formation and the Child Eater of Bern? The only connection I can think of is that CEoB is also a fountain but if this is truly a reference to that I have to believe there’s more to be gained.

I have not seen much to convince me there is a connection, but that’s only my opinion. If people are really convinced that is what is being portrayed in the image, I hope they find something.
