the hell? i know for a fact there are refs in there…ever looked at the boy in nola…look again
(also, according to travis…look immediately to his left, as well)

Immediately to his left is a tribble.
Or, a Vogon.
In the checkerboard squares, the brushstrokes contain Vogon Poetry…..which leads you to the planetarium. That in turn points to the crematorium. lol.

preiss loved aliens. the first documented ufo sighting and the guy who coined the term extraterrestrial are both in the puzzles.

This thread is perilously close to “Jump the Shark” territory. And makes it easier than ever to understand the 700. IMNSHO.

Perilously close. But keep in mind, I have an almost infinite amount of patience when it comes to this puzzle.

Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz

Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don’t!

100’s of Vogons.

JoshCornell

have you ever read the obits written by preiss’ friends? one tells about how he actually just said that and that he was really in it to create something awesome while having fun with his friends.

there are some fucking wild references to star trek…a whole load actually…can you find any?
maltedfalcon
Thu Aug 02, 2018 11:26 pm
Short answer… No
Since BP’s Publisher was Bantam
and StarTrek books were published by Ballantine.
I think the odds of using a currently copyrighted and highly enforced proprietary property belonging to someone else in anyway to be a part of a for-profit endeavor are close to zero.
But feel free to look for those clues anyway.
