Why don’t you do a brake down of how each verse connects to each image. You do know the verse are not connected by the author right. Have you even read the book.

Did you skip the first part of marrying the image to a verse.

I have a twist on nola but I like v7. Stone door is the door in the flood wall near cafe du monde(sweet smell). High post are 3 St.Louis cathedral justice and education. The museum’s next to st.louis. this is quoted from the site.
“The Cabildo served as the center of New Orleans government until 1853, when it became the headquarters of the Louisiana State Supreme Court.
The building was transferred to the Louisiana State Museum in 1908 and has since served to educate the public about Louisiana history.
Next six lines are to one point of description.
Twain attention is mississippi and/ steam boats of course. Enter Jackson’s square preservation written on center statue(like clock) then flowers on top of clock match exit square sign. Then continue river direction to amphitheatre . Ace is high is cannon in Washington artillery. Sounds describes the ambient sound in the area river boats, people, ect. Always a lot of sounds here.
NOW THE NEW PART. GIANT POLE GIANT STEP.
The strange tall light poles next to cannon and the immediate giant step down to a 2 foot strip of grass in the parking lot behind Washington artillery. Grass is directly under the pole. And the kicker
THE LIGHT POLE IS A PERFECT MATCH FOR THE SECOND HAND ON THE PUZZLE CLOCK.
There are two light poles but Its the one to the right. How I know the second hand points to the 3 o’clock on the I7 clock. So it right one when facing the river. Hour hand is the cannon.
The boy / jester / street performer on the clock is in the center of an arc / amphitheater. like the amphitheater in front of washington artillery. It was made for street performers and it is use often.
This is also an area BP could have gotten in to night or day that is somewhat quiet and has a covered drive through good for hideing. Its a lot of info i thinks thats all of it.
This is a spreadsheet with all info.

I probed the area but i think its too late. The soil looks disturbed recently. The soil is Black dirt with tons of small shells. I was hitting shells and the soil was soft. When i viewed this area on google street view this ares was grassy. the first foot or so past the overhang i hit cement at about 12 in. the rest I got down 3ft but some spots i hit thing but likely just shells. unless the plexi glass can be easily penetrated with a probe. did the Cleveland crew penetrate the box? I Know it was broken. The back of The Washington Artillery is being totaly ripped out. there where a few other grassy areas the could have been the spot behind the lamp pole. see photo.

that is a lovely giant pole, but its not the one you’re looking for lol…

Step forward with info or buzzoff. This solution is higly logical. Also forgot to mention you pass by a moon historical marker on the steps up to the pole. the photo is on my spread sheet. Preserved is also in the statue in Jackson SQ as you walk by to ace is high. they all predate 1982.

Any idea how long the flag pole in Jackson square has been There? It seams a little taller than a normal one.

Not sure the age of the flag pole. There is no giant step in Jackson square. Jackson sq is as busy as times square. He had brass balls if he buried a cask there.

IMO the flag pole or the pole on the JAX bldg resemble the second hand more than the light pole which has a T @ the top. Since there are multiple steps going down below I would use the Moon Monument as a reference point for giant step.

Have you looked at the grassy area at the top of the steps in your picture or just on the street level. I think the checkered board represents a levee and the wolf head is looking at the side of the park area.

If the casque was in the Moonwalk area (which I don’t think it is), it is almost certainly lost to time/construction. That area has been dug up multiple times since the early eighties. The levee area used to be a grassy open space, then it was renovated to include a wooden walkway, and then finally to the concrete path with lamp posts, planters, etc. like you see now. I doubt there is an inch of space anywhere along there that hasn’t been torn up since 1982.

Your referring to the grass on the Jackson sq side of the wall. At one time it was open to the public it’s fenced off now. It is also a good spot but one would need access to the gate. I fear the cask is gone with the construction. This area was also renovated in 1997 but I’m not sure what changed. I know the amphitheater at one time was a large fountain the turquoise from the image would have matched it perfectly.
