I still can’t send the pictures that I cropped with PAINT, ugh! The Hand holding the pine cone is located at K6 of the Wiki Image1. It’s the area that doesn’t otherwise appear to “fit” that section of the Image. It matches the pine cone in John McLaren’s Hand on his moument. Thanks again for taking the video and pictures for me. k6 seems to be a wing of the dragon (which is a crow)…and a ruffle in her dress…what are you saying is the pine cone?

Yes, You’re right. William McKinnon Statue. Big error. Thanks for catching that. I’m not at my big computer, so I have no way of checking out additional ideas, but has anyone considered the moons as the map? I plan to overlay the positions of my known clues on a map of SF then position the moons above them to verify that the casque is on the south side of the William McKinnon statue. Did you say you have checked that spot? Wingless bird could be a rocket or spaceship. Thanks, Adam

i know what the moons mean. also, im not using the montreal verse for the sf puzzle cause ive already completed them both with their respective verses. well, ive completed the mtl treasure hunt im not fully complete the entire map.

You don’t need a “giant” anything if you are using Verse 5 for your solve. You need a white stone and permission.

Thanks for all of the input. The error message I’m getting trying to attach photos says “Sorry, the board attachment quota as been reached.” I wanted to include what I see as the pine cone in John McLaren’s left hand on his Monument. There is no giant pole for my solution. I am searching for the casque in SF using Image 1 and Verse 5. Have a great weekend. P.S. Has anyone dug behind (South side) of William McKinnon Statue previously? And also what have other people translated “weights and roots extended” to identify? Thanks, Adam

Weight and roots extended!
The BART system. Lots of interesting info on Bing regarding the way BART buried a transbay tube involving 57 sections connected and positioned under the bay. Lots of weight put on top of the tube to position it, the system is constantly extending “routes” to different communities to improve service. Transbay tube opened in 1974. New stuff when this treasure hunt was being researched. I also see the map of BART in Image 1

Hi Josh,
you haven’t searched in “my dig spot” previously, because you are sure that the SF casque needs verse 7 to be solved, right? Ace is high sounds like a deck of cards or casino reference to me. Anyway, is there a giant step pictured in Image 1? I don’t see it. Thanks for all of your help, Adam

I just discovered that:
2 20 2
doesn’t connect to Ansel Adams’ birthday as significantly as previously thought, darn.
Guess what DOES

Adam, the wingless bird is the Velodrome, which was changed into the Biodome a few years after the ’76 Olympics.

Really? That would be a perfect setup for what that line represents.
I’m still partial to Greece being generally south of Italy’s Garden and the fact that Italy is a 2:1 country containing the Vatican.

I thought the Greek Cult. Garden was the third one listed on the path directory in the park signage from the entrance to the park.

This is not new, btw you should seriously read some of the older SF threads.

I Love it. Thanks for your sense of humor and encouragement,

O.K.,
I’m done reading all of the SF posts. (not really, got bored with all of he bickering). I did check out the solutions of the 2 found casques and see that the items puzzled had some immigrant nationality connection to the group of immigrants that the city is connected to. So, shouldn’t the SF stuff be tied to Chinese related or significant items somehow? Just a thought, Have an excellent day! Adam

Lover’s lane trail is on the presidio
The Presidio was not open to the public until shortly after 1994 when it was turned over from being a military base.
The trail did not exist at the time the book was published.
