“ The Hound”, Preliminary Design Sketch for the 2019 “Song of Ice & Fire” calendar (AKA “The Game of Thrones”) Commissioned by George R.R. Martin & Random House, Inc.

Mr. Martin owns the original painting.

This drawing is not sized for the current mat. A custom mat will have to be cut to fit the drawing’s dimensions. This mat is only a place holder.

I’ve included the final painting for reference as it appears in the 2019 “Song of Ice & Fire “ calendar. I think this drawing also appears digitally enhanced in the center spread of the calendar.
